Memorial Movies

There is a great way of enhancing your Memory Page. After having purchased the basic version of the Memory Page you are welcome to upgrade it by adding a Memorial Movie. We can edit it by hand using all the information you provide us via the editing interface of your Memorial Page. You can include all pictures, descriptions hints, and advice in the required order of appearance. Please take a look what your movie could be like:

Why a porcelain QR code?

Taking our human scale porcelain is eternal. We still can recognize faces from 19th-century pictures mounted on gravestones. Bright colors of 18th-century Meissen porcelain still do amaze us. Chinese porcelain art from a thousand years ago is still perfectly usable. No other technology is so timeless.

How long will it last?

The content is saved under a very easy and intuitive Internet address and will be available as long as we keep the domain running and as long as the Internet is around. A bare minimum of 20 years from the moment you purchase your Memorial Page is guaranteed. With every year we keep the project running and it will naturally become more and more valuable to our culture.

Will I ever be billed again?

No, except you want to purchase a completely different Memorial Movie in the future or want more than two QR codes to be burned. We intend to keep a Memorial Page for generations to come and we perfectly know how important it is not to leave behind any financial obligations.

Where will we store the data?

All the data will be stored on our dedicated servers and periodically copied in a variety of ways to ensure long-lasting protection, safety, and availability.

How can I access my Memory Page?

The primary intended way to read the data is by scanning the QR code from a porcelain tile attached to a monument. You are free and encouraged to use your QR code in its .png version in any applicable format in print and other media.
